In 2009, as a result of the credit crunch, the assets of the company were bought out of receivership by Liam Torrance, CEO of the Torrance Group.
The new Director, Liam Torrance, has an established and successful career in manufacturing and also owns other manufacturing businesses. On the acquisition he commented: “Qualtronic offers specialised and highly skilled engineering which is difficult to find elsewhere. With good customer relationships in place, we are working flat out to get back to trading as quickly as possible. I’ve been very impressed by the commitment and dedication of the people in Qualtronic who place quality at the heart of everything they do.” |
