Matsuura H Plus 405 Horizontal Machining Centre
This machine is able to provide data capacity to accommodate complex 3D mould and die work. From the HSM facility, non ferrous alloys and others up to 62 Rc are able to be machined. The machine is fitted with a Renishaw probe providing a quick and accurate means of setting. It has a high spindle speed of 15200 rpm with a high rated motor of 22kw, also, having a larger memory capability provides for different jobs within each cycle.

This machine is extremely accurate, able to achieve 0.0003”/0.007mm of position with repeatability to 0.0001”/0.0025mm. The spindle has top speed of 6000rpm but with a good power capability across the speed range, is capable of dealing with both aluminium and stainless steels. It has a work envelope of 20” x 14” x 18” (510 x 360 x 450mm) and holds 20 tools.

CNC Indexer
An indexer is available to provide a fourth axis for our vertical machining MC500V centre, with the smallest axial movement of 0.001 degree, the equipment is capable of dealing with very small requirements with a high degree of resolution.

This machine is particularly accurate holding machine tolerance of 0.0002”/0.005mm with repeatability of 0.00004”/0.001mm. Top spindle speeds of 8000rpm/15000rpm respectively are available with high torque capability across the speed range, particularly at low speed, with the RAIIF. Parts within a size range of 21” x 16” x 14” (530 x 400 x 350mm) can be manufactured.

This machine has a machine accuracy of +/-0.0002” (0.005mm) with repeatability of +/-0.00008” (0.002mm). Top spindle speed is 12000rpm with high torque across the speed range. The machine specification provides the capability to deal with aluminium through stainless steels effectively. Parts within a size range 24” x 21” x 17” (610 x 550 x 450mm) can be accommodated. The machine is designed to provide quantity production and is fitted with a ‘C; axis for complex helical requirements.

This machine is the latest from Matsuura giving Qualtronic the opportunity to offer an enhanced milling package for the most complex of components requiring the highest quality possible. The machine is equiped with a 2 Pallet Changer System to reduce cycle and set up times. A working envelope of 250mm x 250mm x 250mm offers a wide scope for different components.

It has a machine accuracy of +/- 0.0002” (0.005mm) with repeatability of +/-0.00004” (0.001mm). The machining envelope is 20” x 14” x 18” (500 x 350 x 450mm).

Nikken Fifth Axis Facility
This provides for the machining of very complex parts, it allows for an increased productivity with one hit machining through the reduction of multiple operations. This equipment is for 5 axis simultaneous machining and is able to accommodate for example turbine blades and manifolds.
